WHO ARE WE?

Paws to Rescue was founded in March 2025 by Nicole Sellers . With many years in rescue, Nicole decided she wanted to help more within communities as a front line volunteer that she had built close relationships to. These communities struggle with the overpopulation of animals.

Paws to Rescue is in the process of incorporated as a non-profit under the name Paws to Rescue Inc.

Paws to Rescue is an all-breed rescue that focuses on rescuing animals in need, caring for them in a safe and enriching environment with fosters until reputable rescues accept them into care.

We focuses on partnering with reputable rescues to transport surrenders, fundraising and supporting communities with different resources. Our team is made up a small group of volunteers, so unfortunately we do not have the capacity to adopt directly through ourselves. Our intakes are decided on by our foster's availability and capabilities, and rescues financial standings.

 

We couldn't do it without our amazing volunteers who open their homes to the animals in need. Funds come from donations, fundraising, and grants. We work with many different rescues to accomplish life-saving goals.​​ If you are a rescue able and willing to help Manitoba dogs needing placement, or able to temporally foster please contact us and we will be in contact in the near future to see if any of our animals are a good fit for each other .
